This category is devoted to my virtual reality system, and my opinions regarding the various components and vendors that I have tried so far.
Caveat: These are the products I have tried personally. I am not paid by these guys to advertise, these are just my opinions at the time of writing, and are subject to change. There are alternatives to many of these.
Recommended non-brand items:
WATER. Don’t forget it!
Towel to wipe away sweat.
A fan to circulate air in the room. The remote controlled tower fan I have does pretty well. It’s a Vornado, and it’s designed to create a rotational pattern of air.
Large SSD: your load times in games will be much faster if you install them on an SSD, but you’re gonna need a lot of space for all the games you’ll want to play.
Wireless keyboard : for treadmill users. It is incredibly annoying to have to get out of the treadmill to reach my computer’s usual keyboard, so I taped one of these to the side of the treadmill. I should probably upgrade one of these days, and make something more professional than a bunch of masking tape.
